ACHS sophomore Chloe Cales has been selected for the highly competitive Bethel College Summer Science Institute. The hands-on program allows just 36 students to live on campus, work with faculty, and take part in real research. Chloe will study both natural ecosystems and human perception through small-group projects. She will also earn college credit while exploring future career paths in science.

Enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year will open on April 22 through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families who need assistance can attend in-person enrollment help on April 28–29 from 4:30–7 p.m. at the ACMS gym.

USD 470 provides FEMA-rated storm shelters at elementary schools to offer a safe space for community members during severe weather.
