The Arkansas City Middle School's Kansas Association for Youth (KAY) Club, under the guidance of the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA), has been making its mark on the community with its annual Richard Potterton Food Drive – a tradition deeply rooted in both history and heart.
Thanks to an early literacy grant through the Kansas Health Foundation, Arkansas City Public Schools is able to share family literacy bags with multiple community organizations.
Important Information
We know students feel and do their best when they start the day with breakfast. This year, we feel fortunate to be able to offer EVERY USD 470 student ONE FREE breakfast every school day!
What an incredible first day of school! Special thanks to Cowley College athletes and the Arkansas City Police Department for helping gives students a warm welcome. We reconnected AND made new friends. Here’s to a year filled with learning, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of fun!
