Preschool Screening:

At the screening, we will explore the areas below to better understand your child’s development. Teachers, speech pathologists, and school psychologists will be working with your children and will go over all of the data with you.  We will also check your child’s vision and hearing. 

The areas that will be addressed are: 

• Motor jumping, hopping, skipping, cutting, copying shapes
• Language answering name, age, identifying objects, rhyming, and “I spy”
• Concepts body parts, colors, shapes, sorting
• Self-Help personal care, eating, dressing, grooming
• Social skills with other children, parents, following directions, sharing, empathy

Hoy exploramos las siguientes áreas para comprender mejor el desarrollo de su hijo. Los maestros, el patólogo del habla y el psicólogo escolar trabajarán con sus hijos y revisarán todos los datos antes de que se vaya hoy. También revisaremos la visión y la audición de su hijo.

The areas that will be addressed are: 

• Motor saltar, brincar, brincar, cortar, copiar formas
• Language responder nombre, edad, identificar objetos, rimar y “veo veo”
• Conceptos padres del cuerpo, colores, formas, clasificación
• Auto-ayuda cuidado personal, comer, vestirse, arreglarse
• Social habilidades sociales con otros niños, padres, seguir instrucciones, compartir, empatía
