Communication

Our communication team takes great pride in telling the stories of Ark City Public Schools and celebrating the successes of our students and staff. We are also committed to fostering effective communication and engagement between the school district, our stakeholders, and the wider community. We understand the importance of open and transparent communication and creating a community where all voices are heard and valued. This department is responsible for media relations, social media and website content, publications, helping with special events, and coordinating communication efforts across the district.

All media inquiries should be directed to Alisha Call, director of communications via email or by calling 620-441-2000.

How We Communicate

Phone Alerts

TalkingPoints is the district's primary communication tool. We use it to communicate (via text and app) with families at the district, school, and teacher levels.

USD 470 also uses SchoolMessenger for phone calls regarding attendance, school closings, and emergency alerts.
