Congrats to the 62 ACHS students in Mrs. West’s Financial Literacy classes for earning their EVERFI Financial Literacy Certification! After completing 11 lessons and passing all assessments, these Bulldogs now have essential real-world financial skills to manage money, set goals, and plan for the future. Way to go, Bulldogs – we’re proud of you!

or Amanda Hadicke Schweighart, a 2003 Arkansas City High graduate, no two days at the Memphis Zoo are the same. As the Curator of Africa, Northwest Passage & Teton Trek, Amanda oversees the care of iconic animals like elephants, giraffes, and sea lions. On October 30, 51 Arkansas City High School students attended the "Build My Future" event in Park City, gaining hands-on experience in construction and service industries. Guided by ACHS staff, students explored high-paying career paths that don’t require additional training beyond high school, connecting with industry professionals and learning valuable skills.
