Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Arkansas City Public Schools. In his first message as superintendent, Will Pfannenstiel shares his gratitude for the opportunity to serve, reflects on the values that have shaped his leadership, and outlines his commitment to working alongside students, families, employees, and the community as USD 470 builds for the future.

ACHS sophomore Chloe Cales has been selected for the highly competitive Bethel College Summer Science Institute. The hands-on program allows just 36 students to live on campus, work with faculty, and take part in real research. Chloe will study both natural ecosystems and human perception through small-group projects. She will also earn college credit while exploring future career paths in science.
